2 research colloquiums in 1 semester.
(For you information, research colloquium is an event where you present you study to other students and a lecturer/tutor, and it's a time for others to shoot you till death.)
2 research colloquiums = 2 studies
It's only week 4, and I am mentally exhausted.
Last week was the longest week I ever had. Been burning midnight oil for the proposal of our studies. The routine for last week was search & read journals - meeting -search & read journals - sleep - search & read journals - meeting - search & read journals - sleep and it went on and on for one week.
1st day of Week 4
8am: Due date for the proposal of our experiment. Tensed.
3 quizzes in 1 lecture. Tensed.
Defense with my dean.
I was so so so nervous because it's the 1st time to conduct our own study. Luckily our proposal was approved and found that my dean wasn't scary at all! He's trying to help my group to conduct a better study. Really appreciate that =) I'm hoping my advanced research lecturer will be as nice as him, but apparently that's not going to happen.
